Background in payroll operations — the kind where the regulatory complexity is the interesting part and nobody wants you to fix it. So I started fixing it anyway, first with spreadsheets, then with Python, then with a homelab that grew until it needed its own router.
Currently based in the Netherlands. Building infrastructure and an AI agent simultaneously, which is either efficient or inadvisable. Possibly both.
A modular AI agent built on Ollama. Capabilities live in modules, each governed by an SOP markdown file — ordered tasks, tools, error handling. The layer 2 model reads the SOP and executes. First serious module: payroll processing with Hungarian regulatory logic.
Self-hosted home infrastructure on a BananaPi R4 router and Minisforum mini PC. WireGuard tunnels, Proxmox, Jellyfin, Nginx reverse proxy on a Hetzner VPS. Fits in a bag. Mostly stable.
Access-based attendance tracking system for 250+ employees. Automated validation and import/export, cut processing time in half. Built at a previous employer, still in use.
